Should I go to a salon and get it done. Or should I buy a flat iron to do it. If i get a flat iron how much should I spend on it and what hair creams or sampoos should I get for the best results. How long would it take me to do it. And can i achieve and emo hairstyle at home. My hair is wavy/curly. Please help.

You can get a pretty good flat iron for 15-30 dollars. Don't use gel with it, or your hair will NEVER EVER be okay again. Use Physique original formula shampoo, it's easiest on straightened hair.

Dont have any kind of hair product in your hair like hairspray or gel, this will ruin the straightener, and your hair. Try that new "time-renewal" shampoo, it's pretty good :)
