You can get a pretty good flat iron for 15-30 dollars. Don't use gel with it, or your hair will NEVER EVER be okay again. Use Physique original formula shampoo, it's easiest on straightened hair.

I have wavy curly hair too and it bugs the crap outta me, hair straighteners cost from about 15-45$ (at a place like walmart). Dont have any kind of hair product in your hair like hairspray or gel, this will ruin the straightener, and your hair. Try that new "time-renewal" shampoo, it's pretty good :)
